I’ve been crying for my baby 
I miss her like an allergy 
My only company 
She means everything to me 

Nobody ever loved me like that 
Nobody ever had a better cat 

The first time she got on the table
Mama said she should get down
I said that she could stay 
I knew she would behave 

Cuz, nobody ever had a cat like that
And nobody ever could have a better nap 

She used to get on my machine
swinging her tail while I tried to read
She’d trample on the keys 
she could do nothing that wouldn’t please 

When I’d turn on the light 
she knew it was time for her treats
But first she’d get inside my case
she wanted love more than to eat 

Now I’ve lost my best friend 
Now my life will never be the same again
