Six Parts of Hamlet

By AJ Stewart

Who’s there?

That this flesh would melt.
God! Two months dead: nay, not two
Must I remember?

What a rogue am I!
To unpack my heart with words,
And yet say nothing.

To be? Not to be?
To sleep, to dream: There’s the rub.
And must give us pause

Now could I drink blood
Soft! Be Cruel, not unnat’ral.
Lose not thy nature

Now might I do it.
He to heaven. No! Up, sword.
His soul needs be damn’d

Spur my dull revenge!
This time forth, thoughts be bloody
Or be nothing worth!

The rest is silence
